Bus 1846 (Chicken) was involved in a minor fender bender. No children were injured. We are trying to determine who was on that bus when it happened. She is running behind because of the incident. She WILL finish the route (in her bus). If you are still waiting for pick-up, she is on the way. You are also welcome to bring your child to school.
We’re starting our last big fundraiser of the year to support our teachers and students. We would love your support! Simply register, shop and sell to family and friends using the easy share functions! Kinder packets went home today. Pre-K packets go home tomorrow! Kids earn a COOL stuffed animal bracelet just for registering and sharing 7 emails!
We are also looking for donations of stuffing and cornbread mix for the north end school food drive!

Join us TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30! We have hot dogs/chips, games, food trucks, free activities, book fair and more! Park in the front of the school or the front soccer field. If you pre-ordered a stuffed animal, you may arrive early (5:15-5:30) to visit the outdoor stuffed animal truck. You will not be able to enter the school until 6. Priority at the truck will be given to families who pre-ordered and then walk-ups.
Join us tomorrow night for Brown Bear Family Literacy night! Teddy Bear mobile Bus orders close tonight at midnight. Link is in newsletter. We now have a food truck and fun drink truck coming as well! We will have free hotdogs and chips. Book fair, animals, free craft, obstacle course, story walk, free book and much more! 6:00-7:30!

North Park Elementary's 25-26 Yearbook is available for purchase! It is an online purchase for $20. The yearbooks will be shipped to school in April. North Park Parents -
We have a family night on October 23rd (book fair, food, storywalk, free book, , obstacle course, craft). More info to come on that. BUT - I wanted to go ahead and share that we will have a teddy bear mobile truck on site. They are taking pre-orders and if we have 75 orders, we receive $5 per order for our school. These are really nice (like Build-a-Bear) and a fun experience for kids. Pre-ordered stuffed animals include a North Park shirt! LOTS of animals to choose from. REMINDER - There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 13, 2025! The day is a Professional Learning Day for Hardin County Schools staff. We are excited to welcome students on Tuesday, October 14, 2025!!
Tomorrow is our first "dive" day for kindergarten! Students will get to pretend to be scuba divers as we "dive" deep into learning! Kindergarten students will get to visit different classrooms in the morning for a day of no worksheets or pencils! All hands on reading games and activities! In the afternoon we will have sack lunch picnics, our monthly PBIS ice cream reward, playground time, a dance party and a special storytelling session. A great way to wrap up our first quarter!
