Message from NPES Nurse Kim: We will be doing flu shots on Monday for Pre-K M/W/F, 5 Day, all K. Tuesday flu vaccines will be given to Pre K T/Th. Only students with signed flu shot consents will receive the vaccine.

Grandparents should report to the front parking lot. Overflow parking can be found in the soccer field adjacent to our front parking lot.
Grandparents should be prepared to show an ID upon entrance to the school.
Grandparents may take students if the parent gave consent when registering the family for the event.
The Mod Booth digital photo booth will be available during the event for digital family event photos!
We cannot take any last minute registrations. If you have not signed up, please do not show up for this event.
Sign ups for our Grandparent Ice Cream Social events will close at 8:00 AM tomorrow. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions after 8:00 AM tomorrow. Information is below if you have missed it:

At approximately 12:20 this afternoon, our school was put into a hard lockdown using our Raptor Technologies system. This system supplies district employees with security badges that have buttons that must be pressed multiple times during an emergency.
The button on a badge was pressed the appropriate number of times by accident, sending our school into lockdown for approximately 45 seconds.
Everything is fine. All is well. There is no need for our school to be on lockdown. The pressing of the button on the Raptor badge was a mistake.
We appreciate everyone’s care for our students and staff. And, we are thankful to our first responders and staff who took the situation seriously. Thank you for your support and dedication to our North Park Elementary family!

NPES families - I know many of you saw the district message about completing the parent update. It’s a little tricky since our families are all mostly new. If you registered your child for school since March, you won’t really have an “update” like returning students or older children, but you can verify your child’s Infinite Campus information and have a portal account for the future. Parents who previously had a student here can check and complete an update. We want all of our families to to get a parent portal account as soon as you can. See directions below:

NPES Preschool Families: Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Hayes (school principals) have a short meeting we would love for you to attend with us to go over school procedures, policies and expectations. We also want to connect with you and help you if you need assistance with PickUp Patrol, Class Dojo, etc. We had these meetings with kindergarten, so we like to have the meetings with preschool families as well! We are offering a morning and afternoon time on Monday at 8:00 or 2:30. You choose one if at all possible. The meetings will be in our cafeteria. Thank you!
