Good morning, North Park Families! We are asking your assistance as we work to build a "prize store" for our students. We want to reward students for attending school on time, working hard in the classroom, following procedures, showing growth, etc. We want to build a "Mr. Gatti's style" store with prizes and could use your assistance with donations. We will have a Tiny Trojan store drive during Open House on August 5th. Please see the attachment for ideas (all things you can buy at the Dollar Store) and a link to an amazon wishlist! THANK YOU for your generosity. Any item you can donate is GREATLY appreciated!

Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!

We encourag new families and families who have been with us for a while to elect to receive push notifications from your child(rens) school(s). Just a reminder that tonight is the TROJAN FEST at North Hardin High School from 5:00-7:00 for all Trojan schools! We hope to see you there for this great back-to-school event.
Tomorrow is our kindergarten JUMP START for students who registered for this event. Unfortunately, pre-registration is closed. If you did not get your child registered or you are unable to join us, we look forward to welcoming you and your students at our Open House on August 5th.
If your child is attending Jump Start, please check your email for information about the event. We sent information to the email you provided upon registration for that event.
Hardin County Schools is in the process of implementing a new communication system. We encourage ALL families to start downloading the HCS app. You can click on "FEED" and select NPES to see our announcements and info. The Rooms and Messages feature is not yet available for our students - but coming VERY SOON! We will share when you can access that feature. Many of you have been trying to log in and that is why it is giving you an error; the data transfer is not yet complete for those features.
I have included graphics and a link to a guide helping you with the process of downloading and using the app.

Also, I know many of you are curious to know about your child's teacher. We have asked kindergarten teachers to notify families by August 1st. Preschool info is coming as soon as we can share it in a timely manner - please know preschool starts at the end of August, so we are working to get kindergarten info out first.

* Open Enrollment for parents of children enrolling in school for the first time, transferring to another school in the district (except for the natural elementary-to-middle or middle-to-high school transistions) or for those who plan to attend a new school.

* If you cannot come to the school to enroll your child on those two days, everything is OK!! Just call your school and schedule a time to enroll your child or drop by your school the next week!
