North Park Families - we look forward to seeing you at Open House tonight from 5:00-7:45 (based on last name). Please park in the front and enter on the LEFT SIDE of the building where our buses park. You will not be able to park in that area. Please do not use the front doors - that will be an exit only tonight. If you have not created your PickUp Patrol account AND your student's default transportation plan, that must be done before you leave Open House. We highly recommend you doing that BEFORE Open House because you will have a lot of things to do during our event. If we do not have a default plan set, we will not know where to send your child on the first day of school. If you don't know your bus number, Mrs. Morgan has created a file with all the streets and assigned numbers for your reference. Feel free to call with any questions! Parents, we have a new program for transportation changes. It is called PickUp Patrol. We are very excited because you will have more control to make plan changes, and it will speed up our dismissal process.

You will be receiving an email from PickUp Patrol soon, so make sure to check your spam folder. This invite will only be sent out to Guardians who registered their child with an accurate email.
I am also including a link to a file that can help you locate what bus your child will ride. There is a file for the streets in the Meadow View, Radcliff, Vine Grove, and Woodland districts. We will have the transportation department at North Park on Open House night to assist with any questions or concerns. If your child is going to be a car rider, we will assign you a number that night as well.

Please be patient as this is a new system for all of us. There will be kinks, but we feel it will smooth out soon, and you will like the efficiency of the program.

Kindergarten Families - registration for our two-day Kindergarten Adventure Camp on July 20th and 21st is OPEN! We hope that your child will be able to attend this two-day (half day) camp to help your child acclimate to school and our staff! There is a lot of information once you click the registration link, so be sure to read through all the details! Please share with other families who may not be connected to Class Dojo yet. We do not have the ability to message all of our families yet due to the data rollover being later in July. WE LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT ADVENTURE WITH OUR KINDER TINY TROJANS!

It is easy to use and navigate and will be the way teachers connect with you. We will still use the HCS app for announcements as well, but Dojo will be our primary tool for two-way communication. From Woodland Elementary: Do you have an incoming 1st grader that is coming to Woodland Elementary? If so, please sign up for your kiddo to attend this camp. This will help them get introduced to their classroom teacher, see the school building and get acclimated to the building surroundings. If you know someone that has an incoming 1st grader at Woodland Elementary, please share.

The Early Learning Blue Bus will be at Dawley Park giving out free lunches at 11:00! Since it is so hot, we likely won't do story time today, but we have free books, a sprinkler and snow cones! Come out and get lunch! All ages 18 and under are welcome.

The blue HCS Early Learning Bus will be out at Optimist Park in Vine Grove from 11:00AM-12:00PM today! We will have free lunches and books - while supplies last! The first 25 families will receive a copy of Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug! All other families will receive a book of their choice to take home as well. Come visit the bus, eat, enjoy story time and an activity with Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. Morgan (NPES principals) and Mr. McCamish (new Meadow View principal). See you then!
