You will enter through our covered area, which is on the left side of the school (where buses park). You will enter there and then exit out the front of the school at the end. Thank you so much, NPES Parents! We shaved nearly 15 minutes off our car rider time this morning. The last student entered the building just one minute beyond our start time. We appreciate your assistance as we continue to streamline our efficiency in the morning. I'm confident we can get the time down even more as the week progresses. NPES Parents - we have had a great first day so far! Just a reminder that school releases early at 1:15 PM. We will dismiss our buses and then begin car rider line. Car rider line is the access road that goes around the school (entrance off Logsdon). Thank you for your patience with buses this morning and this afternoon. It will be smoother over the next few days.
Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY of school for KINDERGARTEN! We are so excited to see our Tiny Trojans! Just a reminder that students may ride the bus tomorrow, be dropped off in our car rider line (access road that goes around our school property - entrance off of Logsdon further down from our school), or walked in the front doors (tomorrow ONLY). You may take photos in the cafeteria and say your goodbyes there. Someone will walk your child to their class from there. Also, please remember we dismiss ONE HOUR EARLY tomorrow at 1:15 p.m. Thank you for your patience with transportation to and from school tomorrow. There may be kinks that will settle in once we all get back in a routine. Our office is open today until 2:30 for any questions you may have (270-351-4464). Good morning, North Park Families! We are asking your assistance as we work to build a "prize store" for our students. We want to reward students for attending school on time, working hard in the classroom, following procedures, showing growth, etc. We want to build a "Mr. Gatti's style" store with prizes and could use your assistance with donations. We will have a Tiny Trojan store drive during Open House on August 5th. Please see the attachment for ideas (all things you can buy at the Dollar Store) and a link to an amazon wishlist! All students will have access to free breakfast and free lunch again this school year. However, each family is still required to complete a Household Income Form to maintain accurate data as a requirement for state and federal funding. Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!

Just a reminder that tonight is the TROJAN FEST at North Hardin High School from 5:00-7:00 for all Trojan schools! We hope to see you there for this great back-to-school event.
Tomorrow is our kindergarten JUMP START for students who registered for this event. Unfortunately, pre-registration is closed. If you did not get your child registered or you are unable to join us, we look forward to welcoming you and your students at our Open House on August 5th.
If your child is attending Jump Start, please check your email for information about the event. We sent information to the email you provided upon registration for that event.
Hardin County Schools is in the process of implementing a new communication system. We encourage ALL families to start downloading the HCS app. You can click on "FEED" and select NPES to see our announcements and info. The Rooms and Messages feature is not yet available for our students - but coming VERY SOON! We will share when you can access that feature. Many of you have been trying to log in and that is why it is giving you an error; the data transfer is not yet complete for those features.

Also, I know many of you are curious to know about your child's teacher. We have asked kindergarten teachers to notify families by August 1st. Preschool info is coming as soon as we can share it in a timely manner - please know preschool starts at the end of August, so we are working to get kindergarten info out first.

The HCS Early Learning Bus will visit the Elm Road Apartments in Radcliff on THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2025 at 11 am. Children will enjoy a FUN time while learning, reading, playing and eating a free lunch!
We hope to see lots of children there!
