NPES Families - We have some juices, oranges and carrots we can give out today. Please ask for these items upon arrival. We may also have milk that is set to expire today or tomorrow but is still valid for now. We also have a few non-perishable items available as well some new books that we will be giving out from 12:00-2:00 in the front lobby. Our parking lot was worked on yesterday, but it is still slick on the sidewalks, so please use caution when entering.

Today is NTI Day 6. Our offices will be open from 7:30-2:30. To make it a little fun today, we are challenging students to be active collaborators (great participants) on their Google meets! Our Portrait of a Learner focus is Active Collaborator this month, which includes "joining in a group and positive interaction." Mrs. Morgan and I will be hopping on meets to search for some great Tiny Trojan participation! Those students will get a shoutout and a prize from us! Thanks for your hard work, parents! We appreciate you!
North Park Families - As you know, tomorrow is NTI Day 6. Our Portrait of a Learner focus for February is Active Collaborator. We will be looking for some great NTI participants actively collaborating on our Google meets tomorrow! We will have some prizes for these students when we return to school. We look forward to seeing so many happy faces on our Google meets tomorrow and if you need any assistance, our office staff is available at our normal line, 270-351-4464 tomorrow.

NPES Families: Good morning! NTI Day 4 is today. Please see the graphic for tips and reminders. Our contact number is on the second graphic as we are still unable to staff the office. Please answer or return calls from NPES staff. They are required to contact you to check in, offer help, note which option you are utilizing and many are wanting to share updates on your child as well. Thank you for responding. We had a great NTI day yesterday and I HIGHLY encourage you to join the Google Meets - even if you're doing the packets. Kids were having so much fun and enjoyed seeing their friends/teachers. Hop on - they are short, age-appropriate and connected to the current curriculum being taught at school. Have a great day!

Also - kinder families - many teachers put QR codes on your child's take home folder that can be used to access Clever - our online portal where kids can access the digital programs we use. A link to clever is in the kindergarten section of the NTI website. NPES Families: NTI Info for tomorrow
Please see the graphics and check your email or the school facebook page for everything you need to know regarding NTI MONDAY and TUESDAY. There are TWO images to swipe through. One has instructions to follow and the other one has contact info as our office will not be staffed until the roads are cleared more. I know NTI is not ideal for prek/kinder students; however, we have tried to make it very manageable and meaningful - as much as possible. Please plan to participate - it will help keep your kids from going as stir crazy, too!
NPES Families: As promised, here is the weekly newsletter early in case of technology issues once the storm arrives. Next week is unpredictable for sure. Please read the first paragraph for an update on what you MIGHT expect next week regarding school. We will share more when we know decisions. NPES parents - we are sending home additional NTI packets with kindergarten students today in case they are needed next week. Preschool had choice boards sent home several weeks ago. All materials are on our NTI website on our NPES main website. We have no idea what will transpire next week and if NTI will be utilized. However, we wanted to be prepared just in case the superintendent uses NTI. I will also be sending our weekly newsletter tonight so that everyone can read it before the storm fully hits.
NP Families - a 2 hour delay means buses run two hours behind normal schedule, car rider will begin at 9:05 (approximately), school begins at 9:30, and school ends at normal times. All
times are just pushed back 2 hours on a delay (other than the ending times). Please refer to this graphic to help you. If you must drop your child off at normal time, our doors will be open starting at 7:10 am.
