Good morning, NP families! There are many ways you can receive assistance today! Using the App and Rooms is the BEST way to communicate with your child's teacher. Many have already sent out instructions. However, if you need help, we have a dedicated cell phone you can call as our office isn't fully staffed today. You may also go to the NTI site for help (click on office help) and you may also email me. I will be at the school after 8:30, but these are the best methods for receiving help. Assistance is available from 7:30-2:30. Have a great day!

North Park Families - Tomorrow will be NTI instruction (no in-person school) due to the snow. Please remember that kindergarten students must participate by either completing the paper packet (NTI Day 2) sent home previously or by joining the Google Meets and Digital Choice Board. We strongly recommend all kindergarten students join the meets if they can so they can receive live instruction. Preschool families should join the google meets offered by teachers. If they cannot, they may complete the choice board sent home. All the information can be found at our school website:

NPES Preschool Families - In the event that school is dismissed due to possible predicted inclement weather (no decision has been made), our preschool family holiday meal will be rescheduled for MONDAY, December 15th. The same times will be followed. Again, we are just sharing for your reference in the event we are unable to have school tomorrow.

Don't forget the following classes will be performing tomorrow! Gill, Hodge, Smalls, Scott - Concert starts at 9:00. Please come to the lobby upon arrival. Students may see you briefly after the performance. **Students in the remaining Linder classes will perform in the spring!

Don't forget tomorrow's concert for 4 of our classrooms- Leiser, Zumhingst, Phinazee and Pence at 9:00. Please come to the lobby. You will have a few minutes for photos after the concert.

This is just a friendly reminder that the sign up for our preschool holiday meal will close tomorrow morning. The meal is on Friday, December 12. Thank you!

Preschool is a wonderful foundation for children! The learning opportunities in our HCS Preschool classrooms are second-to-none!!

NPES Parents - the Giving Market fundraiser items are delayed due to the weather. They are expected to arrive tomorrow. We will have them ready for pick up during our family night and then all day Friday. THANK YOU for understanding!

NPES Parents - with all the snow, we don't want you to forget about our big holiday night tomorrow - North Pole at North Park! We will have FREE Santa and Mrs. Claus pictures, milk/cookies, hallway decorating contest, Grinch Bingo, storytelling, sing-along and crafts! Come out from 6:00-7:30!! Bring cash for popcorn and kindergarten homemade ornaments ($3 each).

NPES Parents - thank you for a great NTI day! If your child completed a packet (kindergarten) or choice board (preschool), please send in any work as soon as possible to your child's teacher. Students have 10 days to have any NTI work completed or they will be counted as absent. Please make sure all work is sent in by Friday, December 12th. We appreciated your participation, patience and flexibility today.

There is an internet outage with spectrum services. Some of our staff and families have already indicated that they are having difficulty accessing the Google meets. If you are able to join them, that is wonderful however, if you cannot get access, you can complete the kindergarten packet that was sent home yesterday. Those can be returned with your child once we return to school. We appreciate everyone who has already been on a Google meet this morning! So happy to see so many smiling faces!

North Park Families: Today is NTI which means non-traditional instruction. We have made a website to make it easy for you to know what to do and to receive help. Students have TWO options - one is interactive via Google Meets with teachers and the other is choice board or paper-based. Options are slightly different for kindergarten vs. preschool. It is best for students to join Google Meets with staff if possible. PLEASE read our website for all the information. Teachers will be available via Rooms (HCS app) and email. A google meet for help from the office will be open all day after 7:30 AM. Feel free to email or message me (Mrs. Hayes) for help this morning as well. I will send a phone message after 7:00 with more info.

NPES Families - there is a packet in kindergarten folders labeled NTI Day 1. This was placed in your child's backpack as a precaution only. It is important to keep it in the folder in the event that it is needed due to inclement weather. We wanted your children to have a packet option IF we have an NTI day in the future. Preschool families - we did not have time to add the preschool paper choice board to your child's folders by the time we were made aware of the potential need. We will explain all of your options if needed. We have a very detailed NTI site on our school website. If a decision regarding school is made, we will share out detailed instructions, links, directions, etc. Students will have paper OR virtual options. Again, this is all as a precaution and no decisions have been made at this time.
