The elephant bus, 2314, is running behind and has a sub driver. Please be patient as they will complete the route. We just are unsure of how long it will take. If you want to go ahead and bring your child to school you're more than welcome to do that.
NPES parents - the Deer Bus (2331) will be 10 minutes late this afternoon. Also, as shared by the district, some routes may be delayed slightly due to the military procession for the fallen officer traveling through Radcliff. Thank you for your understanding.
Preschool families- our preschool buses maybe delayed leaving the school this afternoon. Many of our buses are on their way back from a field trip and have not arrived at the school yet. Please be patient. If you have geo alerts set up on your StopFinder app you can see when the buses pull out of the parking lot.
Parents, we just want let you know that bus 2176 is having to switch busses mid route. The sub bus will be arriving to their location in about five minutes. Please be patient as your students may be a little bit late for drop off. Everything is OK there was just a malfunction with a roof hatch.
Tomorrow is SPRING PICTURE DAY (individual and group) for the following classes: 3-day and 5-day preschool classrooms, ALL kindergarten classes except Leiser, Zumhingst, Mowry, and Scott. Those four classes will be on Thursday due to a training those teachers have tomorrow. The rest of preschool and any absent students will have pictures on THURSDAY. We also have the first STROLLER CLUB tomorrow at 10:00 am. Meet in the front of the school if you are participating.

North Park Kindergarten Families: Each year we pass along an opportunity for kindergarten graduation mini photo sessions with Kay Fab Photography. The photographer is a nurse who works at NPES with our school nurse practitioner. We give her permission to use our facility for the photos. NPES Families: Please remember that there is NO PRESCHOOL tomorrow due to preschool screenings and registration day. Kindergarten is on schedule as normal. We have an awesome registration event planned. If your child is coming to kindergarten, come join us any time from 9:00-2:00! Please spread the word to other families who have a child starting school!

NPES Kindergarten Families: You will find NTI packets for days 9 and 10 in your child's folder. WE ARE ONLY SENDING THESE BECAUSE WE HAVE UTILIZED ALL OF THE PACKETS PREVIOUSLY SENT HOME. We wanted you to have 9 and 10 just in case they are needed in the future. We changed the packets slightly to align the work with the end-of-year expectations for kindergarten students. We wanted you to see what students should be working on by now and should master within the next two months. If we do not need the packets for NTI work, they would be great resources for you to use at home to practice critical kindergarten skills. Some of your students will be able to complete the packet independently at this point, and others may need some assistance to complete the work. Either way, the packets are a great way for you to see where your child is at academically for this stage in the kindergarten school year. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your teacher or to me (Mrs. Hayes, principal). Again, we have no reason to believe we need these packets any time soon, I just wanted us to be prepared. Have a great day!
