NPES Kindergarten Families: Today you will see a gold half-sheet form in your child's folder. This form will ask you to indicate where your child is attending first grade. Your child will be attending first grade wherever you are districted to attend UNLESS you applied for out-of-district approval and RECEIVED approval from that principal. We are preparing to take students to our feeder schools later this month, and we want to make sure all of our lists are accurate. Please send this gold form back by FRIDAY. THANK YOU!
NPES Families - we need your help! We LOVE our staff here at NPES. Teacher Appreciation week is coming up the first week of May. Since we do not have a PTA and most of our school funds are earmarked for student use only, we have limited funds to celebrate/honor our amazing staff. We have 100 staff members here. We have secured some donations for a few of the days, but we need your help! I have made a wishlist and I would really love to make it a special week for the staff. NPES Parents: Proofs for individual Spring pictures are coming home today. They arrived over Spring Break. There is a very fast turnaround - orders are due by April 18th (Saturday). They are ordered ONLINE ONLY. Group class pictures are being sent home as well if you ordered those. There is a limited number of extras for each class, so please contact the office if you are interested in purchasing one.

NPES Families: Yearbooks have arrived! If you ordered a yearbook, Mrs. Morgan hand delivered the yearbooks to students and had them place those in their backpacks in front of her so we could be sure they were received. If your child was absent today, he/she will receive the yearbook upon return to school.

There is a wreck at the end of Logsdon and Prather. I believe they are letting people turn onto it now. But if you want to avoid the potential traffic, go up to Rogersville Rd.
The elephant bus, 2314, is running behind and has a sub driver. Please be patient as they will complete the route. We just are unsure of how long it will take. If you want to go ahead and bring your child to school you're more than welcome to do that.
NPES parents - the Deer Bus (2331) will be 10 minutes late this afternoon. Also, as shared by the district, some routes may be delayed slightly due to the military procession for the fallen officer traveling through Radcliff. Thank you for your understanding.
Preschool families- our preschool buses maybe delayed leaving the school this afternoon. Many of our buses are on their way back from a field trip and have not arrived at the school yet. Please be patient. If you have geo alerts set up on your StopFinder app you can see when the buses pull out of the parking lot.
Parents, we just want let you know that bus 2176 is having to switch busses mid route. The sub bus will be arriving to their location in about five minutes. Please be patient as your students may be a little bit late for drop off. Everything is OK there was just a malfunction with a roof hatch.
